Caroline Olsson and Ida Noemi both have a Master’s Degree in Design and have their own separate studios in Oslo, Norway. For the product Epaulette Caroline and Ida were invited to exhibit with the Norwegian exhibition ‘Tingenes Tilstand’ and decided to collaborate on a project.
Ida Noemi is a versatile designer, working with product-, interaction- and service design. She has a master's degree in industrial design from The Oslo School of Architecture and Design, and spent one year at Strate College Designers in Paris, France. In her studio, Ida works freelance with furniture, lighting and interior objects. She has exhibited her products around the world over the last years at different renowned furniture fairs, and worked with different producers, like Hadeland Glassverk and Northern Lighting.
Caroline Olsson founded her Oslo design studio in 2013, during her final year as a master’s student in Product Design at Oslo and Akershus University College. She has exhibited her products across the world and was named ‘Young Designer of 2011’ by Elle Decoration Norway. Her aim is to create long lasting designs that encourage user-interaction through function, shape, material and the associations that they evoke.
