Separate wooden parts and approximately 110 meters of rope result in the design of the stool/side-table ‘Wrapped’. By simply wrapping the rope around, the construction is fixed without using glue or screws.
Every product will be assembled by the designer himself in his workshop in the Netherlands.
By rotating the beams around their axes, a new intersection arose. They designed a joint, where all 3 beams share equal contact with each other, resulting in a strong connection.Observing this new structure in an isometric perspective, it is as if you look at an architectural skeleton.
With this modular system, the studio will bring more variations by repeating posts and beams in different lengths, heights and widths. Resulting in cabinets with different functions
Trestle Table (stock model)
The Trestle Table is an elegant, flexible table where the table top and the frame are disconnected from each other. The base of the table consists of lightweight aluminium trestles which are stackable and very stable due to careful design. The trestles carry the table top with a layer of cork in between providing sufficient grip.
The table top has been finished with a Forbo Desktop layer; a natural surfacing material made from sustainable raw materials, renowned for its elegance and durability.

This cabinet shows what textiles can do for a simple shelving unit. Owners can dress up their cabinet the way they like by weaving fabric through or around the metal frame. The tension in the fabric, created by the wooden parts, ensures the final form and functionality of the design: open or closed, formal or playful, static or dynamic. Dressed Cabinets invite adults to play with the appearance of their furniture once again.
