After numerous studies Hanne Willmann developed a technique to emboss permanent structures into wood surfaces. Together with Vij5, Hanne designed a set of two Pear wood boards for cutting and serving, which are unique because of the embossed parts. Through the emboss technique, the surface of the pear wood gets a third dimension – visual and haptic.
The reliëf side is for serving, the flat side for cutting.
The tray is produced by a combination of dedicated handwork and an industrial finishing process. The aluminium is sanded by hand in different directions to create a balanced graphical pattern. On some parts the directions of the ‘fields’ intersect. After the sanding the tray is given its shape and is being anodised to give it a strong top layer, using a beautiful champagne colour finish. We love the fact that the tray looks different from every angle, where the light reflects differently in the grains of the sanded surfaces.
‘Made in the Netherlands’
Pigments & Porcelain plates
Pigments & Porcelain is a research about the flowing of colours through liquid porcelain, resulting in a series of handmade and unique objects. The pattern might be colourful or subtle, very smooth or strongly present; it always reveals the blending of the coloured porcelain and the movements that has been made.

The Coatrack by the Meter comes available as seperate pieces in 20, 50 & 100cm, but can also be connected to each other using the corner pieces. We selected some pre-made sets, but you are more then welcome to assemble your own!

The clever design makes it possible to rotate the mirror and change its appearance in the interior, fitting the mood and needs of the user.
Fixum is a remarkable candle holder, adaptable to different thicknesses of candles. Designed by Floris Hovers, the candle holder is a product that explains itself well in visual language and structure. The simple but sublimely balanced construction ensures that any random candle stands firm and completes the composition.
Tap Water Carafe
The shape of her carafes betrays the origins of the Dutch water. The tall bottle with the long neck refers to water from deep underground; the low, stout bottle is the ideal shape for collecting surface water; the third can be filled with dune water.
The stopper clearly displays the place where the contents were drawn: from the tap, naturally!
