Mieke Meijer (Wezep, 1982) graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2006. Since then she works on self initiated and commissioned projects in her Eindhoven based workshop.

Transparant constructions, clean lines and clear shapes play an important role in Mieke's work. Material and detailing both contribute to a recognisable signature.

Mieke and Vij5 first met in 2007. By discovering the NewspaperWood in Mieke’s portfolio, a collaboration between them originated quickly!
