Chair #29

"Function and construction come together in a detailed language of form and a clear silhouette."

This chair is the result of a formal analysis of a traditional chair. Cut out and folded realized using one steel plate. With this project Paolo Pedretti graduated at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. After his graduation a part of his research has been continued together with Vij5, resulting in the design of Chair #29.
