This cabinet uses NewspaperWood as constructive parts in dialogue with a 'normal' wood construction. The wood joints have a brass core in combination with NewspaperWood and hold the construction together.
rENs regards NewspaperWood as an archive made of characters, words, sentences and stories. The archiving, storage and filing of information is articulated in the design of their products as well as in the NewspaperWood material.
The Display Cabinet emerged from the drawers, being a characteristic element of a filing cabinet. The shape of the cabinet focuses on these drawers: placed in an open framework, a new functional space arises to store and simultaneously exhibit its content.
